This is our last session of the year, and we would like to close up with some Karaoke which they really enjoy.
SNAP SOCIAL
Snap Social is a four-week pilot program designed to platform the voices and views of our service users. At Socialising Angels, the views, needs, and engagement of our young people is integral to our work. We strive to ensure that what we are doing is benefitting and
empowering our members. Snap Social aims to promote our young people’s voices through the
medium of photography, creating a space where they can share their likes, dislikes, opinions, and emotions experienced when out in our community.
If your young person does not have access to a smartphone, please advise our staff on signup and we will seek an alternative. Please note this depends on resource availability.
Snap Social is designed and led by Louise Fletcher, a director at Socialising Angels. I am a qualified ex-teacher with six years of experience in specials schools and fully DBS checked. I am passionate about amplifying the views of our young people and
promoting their self-advocacy. I completed training for this with a charity called

Walks and Talks
Walks and Talks offer participants the chance to explore their local community, engage in group discussions, and where applicable, participate in activities related to the places they visit. These walks promote physical exercise, enhance communication skills, empower individuals through active listening, and foster a deeper understanding and integration within the local community. By participating in Walks and Talks, individuals can improve their physical health, build confidence, develop communication skills, expand their knowledge of the local community, and foster connections with their surroundings and fellow participants
These Walk and Talk sessions will be based in the boroughs Lambeth, Southwark and Wandsworth.
Get Together
Get Together Events provides opportunities for individuals to engage in activities they enjoy, interact with peers, and socialise while participating in various events. These events aim to empower participants through freedom of choice, support their numeracy skills, and enhance their communication and interaction abilities. By joining these events, individuals can learn new skills, try new things, build confidence, and enjoy fun interactions with others. This document will provide an overview of the activities, locations, objectives, and outcomes associated with Get Together Events.
Get Together Events will take place in the Lambeth, Southwark, and Wandsworth boroughs. Participants will have the opportunity to explore local establishments, including restaurants, cinemas, museums, parks, and other venues that facilitate the chosen activities..
